The Ocean View Drive Walkway Project
The Yachats Trails Team is actively promoting and assisting with this project, which aims to provide a walkway along Ocean View Drive from Highway 101 to about Beach Street, safely separated from vehicular traffic. If you want to follow developments, you should bookmark this page which we will update from time to time.
At this writing in mid-2024, funding for the walkway still needs to be secured. We hope that will happen in 2025, in time to begin construction that before the end of the year.
